In France, as in Europe, energy sovereignty is becoming a key issue against a backdrop of geopolitical tensions. And the topic will certainly be addressed during the presidential campaign. Underground resources are a major factor, given the scientific evidence confirming the presence of natural hydrogen in France, particularly in Lorraine. It is equally strategic to explore for helium and critical metals (such as lithium) and to develop geothermal energy to diversify our supply sources. The roundtable will also provide an opportunity to discuss decision-support tools (AI, simulation).
